Chemical Analysis
Allard-Europe has the possibility to do different chemical analysis.
With the spectrolab from Spectro we determine the majors of our materials. The Eltra appliances ONH-2000 and CS-800 give a supplement of analyses of oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon and sulfur. This is necessary for the continue increase of demands in especially mechanical properties together with the increasing demand of stainless steel.
Spectrolab is an optical emission spectrometer (OES) which determines the elements of a sample by the evaporation of the atoms by means of a flame arc. This is in contrast of the analysis of oxygen, carbon and sulfur in the combustion gases via infrared with the CS-800 and the determination of nitrogen and hydrogen via thermal conductivity with the ONH-2000.
