Welding
Welding of cast steel is more demanding than the welding of construction steels. Due to the higher Carbon Equivalent and the large degree of restrain, preheating is often mandatory. Allard-Europe has qualified welders and welding procedures for most of its applications and is capable of performing all relevant repair or construction welding on the castings delivered. Welding equipment from TIG over SMAW and GMAW or FCAW to SAW are available, as well as the corresponding welding procedures.
