Hard Facing
Cladding with abrasion resistant welding consumables is catalogued as hard facing. Most of the applied hard facing is performed with the FCAW process. Exceptionally the parts can be welded with the SAW process, or in the case of really exotic overlay material manual welding by means of SMAW is applied.
